Here is an example of a project car we picked up absurdly cheap. The main reason for that? The interior was properly thrashed.

We started with the rear deck.

Laid out our plan,

and started cutting.

Rebuilding the pieces with fiberglass.

Test fitting before the installation.

The new rear deck with 2-8" subwoofers and 2-6.5 components speakers.

Next we moved on to the center console.

Fitting in the 4x10",

and building the box for a pair of 8" subwoofers.

Getting ready for fiberglass.

The new center console in place.

Last but not least, we move in to the trunk for an amp rack and extra battery.

Putting together a box to sit nicely in the spare tire compartment.

Finishing the box with black carpeting and installing the first few components.

The finished amp rack.

My little help had to come inspect my work.
